COVID19 & the Lockdowns have absolutely tested our mental health.
Especially our vulnerable kids.
According to statistics, 1 in 10 of our young people deal with some form of mental health challenge & left unchecked, could have significant negative implications for their educational attainment & life outcomes.
We have to do something about this.
I will be delivering a special one-hour online webinar for the National Education Union called 'SEMH in the Classroom' on Wednesday 10th February at 3.30pm.
In this webinar, I will be talking about how Social Emotional & Mental Health needs manifest in the classroom & how teachers & support staff can help support these vulnerable students. The webinar will look at:

2) The mechanics of the nervous system & emotional dysregulation also known as ‘emotional hijacking’ & why this matters.

4) Practical & simple strategies to help you soothe & guide your SEMH through their education career.
